How to add files from a directory to DOCman without uploading thru DOCman
I am using DOCman to store files and make them available for download in my website. http://www.duotales.com/
But if file is bigger than 2Mb or something like that then it wouldn't let you to download it. To fix that you can change php.ini file which I wasn't able to locate or add a line to .htaccess file. Some instructions how to do that are discussed in this forum:

So I found an interesting plugin for DOCman - "Autopopulate for DOCman" What it does - it allows you to use FTP client - like FileZilla to transfer bunch of files to the directory specified in this component configuration. And then add them to DOCman.
No more waiting 10 minutes for uploading a document.
